1  Installation Guide Overview

This guide describes the installation of the TOMNET Optimization Environment for Windows.

There are basically two steps: Run the InstallShield installation and install license files.

Howevr, the first step is to register as a TOMNET user and download the distribution. Go to Section 3 and follow the instructions to obtain a copy of TOMNET. The Microsoft .NET Framework assembly cache will be updated during the installtion, see Section 4.

It is important the required environment variables are set (see Section 5). The final step is to install the license file(s), which is described in Section 7.
