Tfzero
Tfzero searches for a zero of a function f(x) in an interval
until the width of the interval has collapsed to within a
predescribed tolerance.
The method used is an efficient combination of bisection and the
secant rule and is due to T. J. Dekker.
Main features
-
Tfzero is the classical fzero algorithm compiled in a binary Mex
Windows DLL or Unix lib.
It executes much faster than the standard fzero in Matlab. The Matlab
version also sometimes fails, because it is really two versions, and
using overlays tries to be intelligent
and understand which version the user wants.
