TOMVIEW /BASE
The TOMVIEW Base Module includes a set of optimization solvers, and interfaces which reformulates the problem and calls a suitable subsolver. Some of the solvers were originally developed by the Applied Optimization and Modeling group (TOM). Since then they have been improved e.g. to handle sparse arrays and been further developed. See the complete list of solvers in the TOMVIEW Base Module >>
The TOMVIEW Base Module can be extended with more powerful solvers. See our product list >>
Features and capabilities
-
TOMVIEW /BASE includes two solvers for global optimization of everything from nonlinear functions to MINLP problems.
-
Interfaces to solve the wide variety of test problems included with the distribution.
-
Sparse matrix handling for better memory handling and algorithm performance.
-
Solvers that reformulates non-smooth problems to smooth linear/nonlinear problems using optimal data structures.
-
milpsolve efficiently solves linear and mixed-integer problems with advances presolve and many other options.
-
A standardized input-output format for all solver available as part of TOMVIEW.
-
Routines for setting up the problems of all optimization types supported.
